Sr. Solutions Sales Specialist – Salesforce

Summary
The Solutions division at CEI is seeking a Senior Solutions Sales Specialist to identify new customers and close business for those wishing to realize the many benefits of leveraging the Salesforce cloud to solve business needs. The right person will have a strong drive to work with our alliance partner, understand our sales plays, and identify customers that need our services. They will help customers understand the business value of our services and the Salesforce platform. You should expect to work with our technical team of pre-sales architects to win business and create long-term client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • The right team member will understand the business objectives of CEI and our partner. They will then be able to put that into action. They will listen to customers’ needs, help identify solutions to those problems, build great long-term relationships, and deliver outstanding customer service.
  • You should expect to work with a team of experts and contribute back to that team.
  • Manage and execute the entire sales process, from Lead generation through close. Identify & develop effective relationships with customers to define strategic objectives and position CEI’s solution portfolio to help clients achieve business outcomes.
  • Work closely with our partner alliance and delivery leadership team in a team-based sales approach. This includes working intimately within the AWS sales teams supporting their seller community as the “go-to” partner for mid to large sized adoption engagements.
  • Develops client-specific strategies aimed at achieving revenue, gross profit, and other financial targets.
  • Establishes and maintains a network of industry contacts through participation in professional/trade associations and other professional networking organizations.
  • Negotiates new client contracts, renewals, extensions, and amendments.

Qualifications

  • Must have demonstrated experience selling technical solutions in the Salesforce ecosystem for 3+ years
  • Prior experience selling consulting services for 5+ years
  • Demonstrated ability to stay up to date on technology and business demands; able to communicate fluently with others on those topics
  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce product and solution and how that ecosystem drives business value for enterprise customers across industry
  • An Eastern US candidate is preferred. Some travel (20%) will be required.
  • A proven track record of achieving and exceeding revenue objectives in complex solutions environment at Fortune 1000 and mid-market clients.
  • Experience with structured sales methodologies in a team selling environment working with alliance and delivery leaders to lead full life cycle sales pursuits
  • Strong verbal, written communication, and listening skills.
  • Ideal candidate will have the ability to manage Executive level relationships (CIO's, Senior level Directors & VP's).
  • Excellent collaboration and team-building skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline or business required.
